Job Description

SME Financial Manager | Central London | Media/Tech Agency | £50-55k + BonusGoodman Masson are exclusively partnering with a scale-up Ad-tech agency on their search for a new, hands on Finance Manager. Offices Central London but Hybrid working - very flexible.Reporting directly to the portfolio CFO, and being in charge of all the firms finances your role will include: transactional finance, assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts, maintaining the fixed asset register, maintaining the salesledger and purchase ledger, submitting VAT returns, P11D s, bank reconciliations, processing payrolls for a small number of staff, cashflows, forecasting, assisting with the preparation of final statutory year end accounts and any ad-hoc projects.Further responsibilities:

  • Producing monthly management packs including bespoke insight for the founders
  • Supporting the Founders in developing long-term business plans, setting annual budgets, forecasts
  • Setting up agile and robust financial process, procedures, and systems
  • Management of working capital
  • Daily bank reconciliations
  • Credit control and managing payments
  • Full purchase ledger responsibility
  • Full sales ledger responsibility
  • Responsible for payroll
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns
About you:
  • Can be part qualified, qualified or QBE
  • Software used - Zero ideally
  • Experience of working for a start up or SME
  • Ability to manage a high-volume workload in a fast-moving and changeable environment
