Job Description

Site Reliability EngineerInside IR35 - Hybrid workingOur client, a global banking organisation have an exciting opportunity for a Site Reliability Engineer to join on an initial 6 month contract. You will be responsible for managing, maintaining, enhancing and strategic development of all Platform and Databaserelated technologies in EMEA as well as internationally.Essential skills:

  • JavaScript and Angular (RxJS) Building SPAs (Single Page Applications).
  • HTML and CSS3.
  • Advanced Microservices, Bootstrap, Material and UI design.
  • Website development using containerisation technologies.
  • Version control software such as GitHub.
  • Continuous integration (CI) and continuous development (CD) (TeamCity) principles and practices.
  • Applications development using Agile, and DevOps best practices.
Desirable skills:
  • C# and .NET Core 3.x Back-End Programming and Web APIs.
  • PostgreSQL.
  • Configuration management software such as Ansible.
  • Container orchestration platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Infrastructure as Code principles and practices.
  • Site Reliability Engineering practices and principles.
  • ABP.IO
  • Apache, Nginx and NodeJS.
  • Bash and Python programming languages.
  • Linux operating systems and utilities (RHEL).
  • Active Directory, LDAP and Kerberos.
  • JIRA and Confluence.
