Start Date: Immediate Pay: Kent Range 4 We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic andskilled Site Manager for our small school in rural Faversham. We are lookingfor the right candidate to work in and around our school undertaking responsibilitiesfor buildings,maintainance and Health & Safety as well as being aproactive member of school life with the children. We would like to offer 20 hours a week during theschool holidays. This can be doing two whole days a week or hours spread acrossthe week to suit you. We arelooking for a skilled person with tradeexperience to undertake this role who enjoys working in a school environment,working with colleagues and children alike, doing a job they enjoy. Duties involved: Carry out Health and Safety checks of buildings,lift, schoolsite and machinery and apply procedures COSHH, water and PATtesting etcUndertake small works -repairs, decorating andground worksMaintain garden and school site andboundariesPlan out, seek contractors and arrange buildingrepairs and oversee works for largejobsMain key holder - to undertake calls outs andensure site is secureMonitor materials and stock and/order supplies andtake meter readingsUndertake general portage duties, including movingfurniture and equipment within the schoolMinibus driving children eachweekKeep to schedules to monitormaintenanceBe able to work at heights and undertake DIYduties.Caring for our chickensJob role is for 28 hours a week Monday toFriday - open up school site each day and in school from 1-6pm daily tocarry out duties across schoolsite and lock up.
