Job Description

Team Penske is seeking an intern for its Composites Shop. The position is located at Penske Racing’s facility in Mooresville, North Carolina.Responsibilities:

  • Assist/learn basic composite manufacturing, measuring, and trimming techniques.
  • Assist with mold cleaning, labeling and preparation for laminating.
  • Restock consumables and other supplies.
  • Help with overall daily maintenance of the composite department and equipment.
  • Follow work instructions and procedures.
  • Handle composite materials and tools in a safe manner, follow safety procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Must have experience with hand and electric / pneumatic hand tools.
  • Must possess above average math skills.
  • Must possess basic computer skills.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in auto body repair and finishing is a plus.
  • Must be able to adapt to frequent change, delays or unexpected events with a positive and constructive attitude.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
