Job Description

Pod Talent are very excited to be partnered up with a global luxury clothing retail company who are looking for a Shipping Operations Clerk to join their team. This role can be based either in Central London or Derby.In this role you will be responsible of handling the full end to end order process of shipment, ensuring that the paperwork, communication and data logging are accurately completed - as well as reporting and managing daily shipping issues, and assist forany new and existing projects.This is a great opportunity for a junior logistic professional with strong analytical and relationships building skills to join a strong growing business that is going through a complex channel network strategic plan.About the role:As a Shipping Operations Clerk you will

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders such us logistics, shipping, merchandising, wholesale, warehouse logistics teams and freight forwarders
  • Be adaptable and able to work cross functionally in the business
  • Assist Shipping & Logistics projects and organize returns and reprocessing - as well as testing technology applications
  • Produce all shipping documentation - COO / EUR1 and/or invoice endorsement with London Chamber of Commerce, Cross trade arrangement for fabric and trims
About you:
  • Minimum 12 months of experience in a similar position within shipping/logistics
  • Strong understanding of shipping and import/export terminology eg. FOB and DDP
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (vlook ups and pivot table)
  • Very well organised and process driven
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong team player with strong communication skills
