Shipping Manager - Fixed term contractNorth West London£20:00 - £22:00 per hourOur client is a leading and well known distributor of health food products with head offices based in North West London and suppliers globally. A position has become available for a Shipping Manager to join their team on a fixed term contract. Our client isoffering excellent benefits, parking and generous holidays. Duties will include:* Managing a small team* Liaising with international suppliers* Processing orders and managing key client accounts with regards to shipments* Collating all documentation with relation to shipment (invoices, packing lists, batch release certificates etc)* Matching purchase orders and invoices, sign off and prepare for shipment* Problem solving on late shipments and delayed containers to a satisfactory conclusion* Sourcing and negotiating reasonably priced freight forwarders* Chasing Bills of Lading for shipments in transit* Liaising with customs* Coordinating containers from Purchase Order to point of delivery* Creating invoices of goods and freight to cross charge to customer* Setting up new product codesSkills and Attributes:* Previous shipping experience within a product background* Working knowledge of INCO terms* Strong IT skillsThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Shipping Manager seeking a role with an immediate start.
