Working with us will provide invaluable experience and the chance to put being part of our journey to Good on your CV in what could be a career defining role.Apply now, and be part of our success.ABOUTTHE JOBReporting to the Head of Safeguarding and Intervention, you will be expected to provide strong and visible leadership for an Intervention Service.The Service Manager for Intervention plays a critical role in driving high quality practice to benefitchildren supported by the Intervention service. The Service Manager will analyse performance data to ensure statutory visits are timely and that the service as a whole is efficient and effective, with the welfare of children and families at the forefront ofall decision making. Leading by example, the Service Manager will act as a point of escalation for cases and make key decisions in partnership with social workers, managers, and on occasion external stakeholders.The role involves helping managers and practitionersto be the best they can be whilst creating the best practice environment for staff. In Newham we model and lead with high expectations and exceptional support - and the Service Manager will exemplify this culture.
