Service Governance Manager Location Independent As a Barclays Service Governance Manager, you will be joining the DFG team, that is accountable for implementing and maintaining a robust framework to ensure that we distribute investment services to our clients in a compliant, efficient, and sustainable way.Barclays Private Bank and Wealth Management has combined to create the biggest wealth franchise of all the UK banks. What will you be doing • Developing and maintaining solid relationships with senior stakeholders across PBWM, functions and control areas • Working closely with Product Lifecycle and Governance to ensure a clear understanding of the Service Review process, standards and requirements • Working closely with Business, Functions and Control partners to ensure their views are understood and incorporated into the reviews • Ensuring that PBWM has a Service Review Plan in place for the delivery of Annual Family Assessments and any required Detailed Product Reviews • Maintaining RACIs across all Distribution Services ensuring they are up-to-date and accurately reflect roles and accountabilities across the business • Producing senior management reporting and responding to the demands of functional partners and audit as required What were looking for: • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills • Excellent written communication skills • Able to quickly form positive working relationships with others • Organized and disciplined in approach Skills that will help you in the role: • A level 4 RDR compliant qualification for giving investment advice to retail clients would be beneficial to the role holder • Fully informed of regulatory and legal change ensuring we stay ahead of regulatory expectation • Be proactive in recommending continual improvement to process, standards and procedures Where will you be working For this opportunity, we will consider requests for locating the role at an alternative Barclays key UK office from that advertised.
