Job Description

Service EngineerLocation: Greenford, LondonSalary: Competitive (Depending on Experience) + Company Vehicle + Pension + Mobile + Travel Expenses 39 Hours Per WeekThe Client:Our client is one of the longest established and leading suppliers of water efficiency technologies in the UK and France. They specialise in rainwater harvesting and greywater recycling systems, mostly large commercial and industrial systems such as airportsor stadiums. The company understands that their success is down to the talent, hard work and commitment of their people.The Role:Self-motivated, team orientated engineer. You will be carrying out:

  • Site surveys
  • Commissioning
  • Pre-Installation visits
  • Minor installations works
  • Planned maintenance
  • Reactive maintenance
  • Fault finding
  • After sale
  • Product test and repair
  • Warehouse duties
Specific training on site for the product line of the company, especially for rainwater harvesting and greywater recycling systems is provided during a 3 months training and evaluation period. Previous Knowledge and Experience:
  • At least 1 year work experience as field service engineer for pumping systems, cooling systems, or other similar technologies
  • Adequate professional qualifications as mechanical engineer, plumber, electrician, control specialist (Certificates and CSCS card required)
  • 18 Edition with test & inspection (2391/2 or equivalent)
  • Independent worker with excellent working standards who can work on his own to deliver expected results
  • High level of motivation and interest in self-progress
  • Experience in providing services to the building industry with high confidence and excellent customer relationship skills
  • General computer knowledge (MS office) and communication skills
  • Experience in rainwater harvesting and greywater recycling systems is advantageous, but not necessary
  • Full valid driving licence (over the age of 25 years)
  • Fluent English (German advantageous, but not necessary)
