Job Description

The CompanyQuest are proudly partnering with a growing retailer that is expanding across their digital operations looking for a SEO Lead to join their team immediately. This is an exciting role to build and develop a team and will suit someone strategic and experienced working on the Technical SEO (crawling, indexing, website architecture etc..), creating and optimising site Content to improve performance and utilise data to create sound strategies.The RoleAs the SEO Lead, you will be responsible for the entirety of SEO to drive digital performance across multiple websites. You will take ownership of looking at the current performance of websites and looking for areas of improvement, increasing organic traffic and revenue through websites.Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Developing a multi-site SEO roadmap and overseeing the implementation of Technical SEO and Content Management activities to improve websites organic rankings
  • Ensure that website traffic, trading and digital marketing are amplified through SEO activities
  • Working with digital marketing team to plan and monitor KPIs and supporting metrics
  • Utilise insights to drive and optimise performance
  • Manage and grow the current team
  • Develop and introduce best in class SEO and share initiatives with wider teams
    • Skills and ResponsibilitiesTo be successful in your application for the SEO Lead you will have:
  • Hands on experience in an SEO Management role
  • Must have experience from an eCommerce trading / agency or online retailer background.
  • You have leadership and team management experience and the hunger and desire to grow your team.
  • Working knowledge of link building using various techniques.
  • Owning SEO responsibilities at a site that derives its revenue through consumer traffic
  • Have used tools such as PI-datametrics / SEMRush for insight and is familiar with Botify / ScreamingFrog to identify issues
  • Experienced in creating and presenting campaign reports including ROI and conversion rates
