Prospero Teaching are working with various primary schools across Merton and the South London Boroughs who are in current need of Special Needs Teaching Assistants and Teaching Assistants to help offer support across Early Years, KS1 and KS2 classes.This will suit those who are looking to gain valuable experience within different schools and those looking to continue and progress their teaching career further.This role will require an enhanced DBS check to be carried out and we can put one into process for you at point of registration. As a work-finding service, we can assist those interested in building their career in a variety of primary schools.We are looking for those who are interested in supporting different needs including autism (ASD), PMLD, ADHD and physical disabilities depending on relevant experience as well as the type of school.Contract/Position Details:-Location: South London Boroughs (Merton) (Willingness to Travel)-Position: SEN Teaching Assistant-Type of Work: Day to day and long-term assignments available across Merton primary schools as a Teaching Assistant-Start Date: ASAP-End Date: N/A-Contract Type: Temporary-Full Time/Part Time: Full Time preferred-Minimum Pay Rate: £70 Daily Rate-Hours: 8:30AM to 16:00PM Full DayExperience, Training and Qualifications:-Relevant experience supporting those with additional needs is a must-No previous experience in education is required, however must have a passion to work with childrenRequirements/Eligibility:-Right to Work in the UK-Hold an enhanced child DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or be willing to process a new application-Able to provide two professional referencesWe Can Offer:-Free, accredited continued professional development courses including safeguarding and behaviour management.-Support from our own in-house Training and Development Team.
