Job Description

Senior Vendor Manager needed for Growing Online Retailer based in London. The Senior Vendor Manager will be responsible for Online Trading performance of their Product Category. They will be responsible for maximising P&L performance and sales performance onlineClient DetailsThe Client are a growing specialist online retailer based in London (and remote) and have received significant investment to continue to innovate and improve their customer proposition, they have grown significantly as a result and now need additional resource in their commercial team, specifically their Vendor Management teamDescriptionThe Senior Vendor Manager will

  • Be responsible for P&L of their category
  • Manage everything from End to End within their product category including onsite trading and performance
  • Be responsible for analysing data and putting together successful and commercial product ranges to ensure optimal trading performance of your category
  • Will be responsible for setting price of products onsite within category, understanding price elasticity across a number of different international territories to optimse sell through rate
  • Ensure trading of products enhances and doesnt detract from customer experience and usability of site.
    • ProfileThe Successful Vendor Manager will
  • Be from an ecommerce/ online retail background
  • Be extremely well versed in online trading performance and improving onsite sales
  • Have experience of End to End product lifecycle
  • Understand the impact of customer experience within the sales cycle
  • Have superb commercial acumen and a track record of trading profitable ranges
  • Be a strong communicator and be able to liaise and work cross functionally
  • Be able to negotiate at all levels internally and externally
