Job Description

Our client, a global IT and telecommunications provider, is seeking a Senior Unified Collaboration Engineer, with fluent Japanese, to join the team in its City based office.Helping to ensure that the firm can both provide and maintain client products and services, the role of the Senior Unified Collaboration Engineer is an integral one, with responsibilities including:

  • Handling customer fault calls from the IT Operations Centre, other company divisions or directly from customers
  • Liaising with third parties in order to achieve trouble resolution
  • Making project managers aware of issues requiring escalation
  • Providing technical support, creating designs and producing proposals for customers
  • Producing ad hoc customer issue reporting
  • Visiting customer premises when required for project or contract maintenance work
  • Travelling to company sites throughout Europe as needed

  • Knowledge and proficiency in the installation and maintenance of network and service infrastructure
  • The ability to create high standard technical documentation (to include high level and low-level design documentation)
  • Fluent Japanese is essential
  • CCNP (Collaboration) certification
  • Experience in designing and troubleshooting Cisco Nexus products with OTV
  • Experience in implementing and troubleshooting network through OSI 7 layers
  • A valid CCIE certification, ideally in Collaboration
  • Strong time management and excellent communication skills
