Role: Senior Underwriting Administrator *Lloyds Syndicate*Excellent salary & Benefits*Hybrid workingOverview of roleEnsure the smooth running of the admin processes that support the underwriting team and underpin our market leading service standards, including performing quality checks on policy documentation and invoicing, tracking internal and external document issuanceSLAs and leading on data quality.Purpose of roleOur business will continue to grow significantly and clear and rigorous admin processes are key to success in delivering market leading service, accurate placement of complex international risks, correct internal and external records and efficient resolutionof any questions or issues, both internally and externally with the various partners who we work with. This role will focus on getting us to a steady BAU administration position and maintaining it through proactive communication with key stakeholders.The Administration Services team supports our underwriting teams with day-to-day administration of individual risks in our underwriting platform and associated systems. This is a key function for us as it underpins the data that drives decisions everywhereelse so accuracy, consistency and timeliness are paramount. Further, a smooth and stable Underwriting Operations function supports high quality underwriting and a great service proposition to our brokers and clients as well as underpinning our regulatory complianceand resilient financial performance.Main areas of responsibility

• Executing existing best practice admin processes and leading the implementation of any process improvements coordinated by the Underwriting Operations Team.
• Reviewing all Synergy records, policy documentation and invoicing processed and/or produced by the Underwriting Assistants to ensure quality standards within our market leading service standards.
• Investigating credit control queries and liaising with underwriters, brokers and business partners for resolution where appropriate.
• Providing general support to other administrative colleagues supporting the underwriting team, including on projects.
• Owning data quality for risk entry and document production.
• Training new members of the Administration Services team on best practice for processes handled by the team.

Experience Required

• Comfortable with Excel, Word, Outlook
• Existing experience with and understanding of standard administration, underwriting and operational processes within the London Market, including Lloyds and settlement direct placement and regulatory responsibilities.
