Job Description

My client is a highly successful challenger bank. This role is based in the City of London. DescriptionThe Senior Treasury Modeller will be responsible for:

  • Managing ALM models (having involvement in all stages of the model lifecycle)
  • Assist with the continuous development of QRM and Anaplan
  • Using R or other suitable methods to build new models
  • Recalibrating and improving existing models
  • Validating colleagues models, both within ALM and the wider group
    • ProfileThe successful Senior Treasury Modeller will have experience in:
  • Quantitative financial models, in particular ALM models
  • Coding in a statistical language, ideally R
  • Excel and VBA modelling
  • Working within Treasury or Risk in Financial Services, ideally in a retail bank
  • Working with QRM
  • Experience of managing the full model lifecycle from selection to implementation
  • A Masters or PhD in a mathematical subject would also be ideal but is not a necessity
