Senior Transport PlannerLondon, Brimingham, Leamingtopn Spa or BristolWe are proud to be representing our client as they seek a Senior Transport Planner as they continue to grow, with a reputation for providing one of the best working environments within the industry and with flexibility on location, this is a great role.Currently working 2 days a week from the office, which could be Birmingham, Shrewsbury, Warwickshire, Bristol or London.We are looking for a bright spark who can lead transport planning and modelling projects and to support the development of other member of the team. The workload is extremely diverse including mixed-use developments, transport infrastructure schemes, windfarms, Electric Vehicles (EV) and Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects.There is an impressive list of clients to work with and you will be a key person to help maximise opportunities.Day to day you will be preparing Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, Local Plans, Transport Strategies, Traffic Management Plans and Access Studies for a wide range of development and regeneration projects from small residential sites and onshore wind farmsto large scale mixed use strategic development sites and Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs).In addition, you will be involved with highway design, including public realm schemes, bus priority, junction and road designs, cycle infrastructure and input to masterplanning of development sites. You will be experienced at transport modelling includinglocal junction models and microsimulation as well as preparing Environmental StatementsYou will possess a degree (or equivalent) in Transport Planning, Engineering, Town Planning, Geography, or a related discipline and will have gained extensive experience in transport planning, including Transport Assessments, and contributing to multi-disciplinaryprojects. You will be experienced managing small to medium sized projects as well as preparing fee proposals and other business development activitiesIdeally you will have experience working on Section 106 and 278 Agreements and familiarity with relevant guidance including TAG, DMRB and the Green Book.
