This position is Front Office focused and works closely with the trading teams to analyse trading and hedging strategies. As well as energy tradingmarket risk skills the successful candidate must have excellent communication skills to build strong workingrelationships with the Front Office. The role will be the key risk contact and will have strong knowledge of the trading portfolios and their performance as well as being aware of the key risks. This is a senior level role which will work closely with theRisk Management team.To be considered for this role you should have at least 5 years experience in an energy or commodity trading business or bank. You will need strong technical and quantitative skills coupled with a strong knowledge of physical and financial energy marketfundamentals with a focus on LNG or physical oil, coal, and associated freight marketsAs well as someone from Risk this role could also suit a Trading Analyst or Trader looking to work in a commercially focused role. A good understanding of risk management methods and techniques - Value at Risk, Profit at Risk (PaR), Stress Testing, ScenarioAnalysis and P&L analysis is necessary.The role requires strong commercial awareness alongside confident communication skills. The role also requires strong stakeholder management experience.Strong IT skills and expeirence of any of the following packages are required, VBA, SQL, Power BI, Python R, Matlab, C#, C++ .Net, Alteryx
