Job Description

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be working closely with, arguably the UKs largest and leading property consultancy on the hire of a Senior Town Planner for the London office.Join a large London team that provides a comprehensive service across all market sectors and London boroughs. The teams work entails working on planning appraisals & strategy; planning applications & appeals; CIL; and Section 106 agreements.Your client base is extensive, where, depending on the team, you will have access to developers, landowners, private individuals, housing associations, local authorities, healthcare providers, education providers and investors. This company has been involvedwith some of Londons most prestigious projects, and has excellent relationships with all the London boroughs and the GLA.Qualifications & Experience Required

  • An RTPI-accredited degree or Masters in a related discipline.
  • MRTPI status.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Experience commensurate of a Senior Planner.
  • A proven ability to multi-task, across many projects, helping to steer the teams workload, managing projects capably - and reporting to directors, associate directors and associates in this team.
  • Experience of supporting junior colleague advantageous
  • Interest in business development advantageous
  • Good negotiation skills.
  • Strong report writing skills.
  • Solid of the UK planning process.
