Job IntroductionAbout the role:A Senior TW Designer (STWD) is required in Area Central to support the production of temporary works designs and checks. The STWD will be part of a temporary work design team based in North Acton and will interact with external TW designers from the JV parentcompanies and through the supply chain.Reporting to the Area Temporary WorksDesign Manager, the Senior Temporary Works Designerwill ensure that Temporary Works (TW)designs are adequate and safely designed forconstruction, use and dismantling, and that development and delivery of TW designsare in accordance with the SCS Programme and the Temporary Works Procedure. This additional ATR will allow to increase resilience in the team, reduce extreme workload on existing TW Design team and allow to do more CAT 1 and CAT 2 designs and checks andcover additional STQs in the area reducing costs in comparison to using consultantsFlexible working: We welcome you to ask about the flexibility you need.
