Position: Senior Technical Designer Location: London Salary: 40-45k Ref: 331-4549We have a client based in Southeast London who are looking for a technical designer to join the team.The company specialise in design for retail display to a very high standard at major high street stores in a variety of sectors.Responsible for producing accurate technical drawings to support the in-house production team and external suppliers.Responsible for liaising with production and project management teams to ensure that projects are successfully realised.Responsible for quality checking elements throughout the project development, to ensure that production methods are in line with drawing proposals.Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and materialsGood knowledge of tolerances and general Drawing StandardsResponsible for carrying out detailed site surveysResponsible for attending high risk installs where deemed necessaryStrong communication skills required to keep all departments alignedHigh attention to detailComfortable working to short timelinesComfortable working to pre-defined budgetsResponsible for creating cut files for internal production and external suppliersComfortable resizing files for printPrevious experience in set build, shop fit, product design or similarExcellent Solidworks or Rhino skillsProficient in Adobe CC IllustratorPlease make sure that your full address and details are included in your application for this role.
