Job Description

Senior Technical Architect - Discovery - Fully Remote (Home Based)We are a global consultancy & internationally experienced system house for all questions relating to digital enterprise management and IT service management. We are trusted advisers to more than 250 organisations across the globe and we have delivered more than 4,000 projects with a 100% delivery success record.As a partner of BMC Software were now looking to hire a Senior Technical Discovery Architect on a permanent basis.Responsibilities

  • Act as a Technical Architect forBMC Discovery
    • Architecting BMC Discovery solutions that meet the needs of the customer in a cost efficient and timely manner.
    • Design and run customer-facing architecture and data capture workshops focused on Cloud, Data, Applications, Infrastructure and Asset Management
    • Define/develop required features to implement a BMC Discovery solution.
    • Configure, and integrate BMC Discovery against customer requirements.
    • Define and develop integrations.
    • Understand and translate customer business requirements to a set of deliverables that include data analysis and reporting.
    • Providing best-practice advice within context of customer constraints such as security and resources
    • Developing Bids, Proof of Value, Statements of Work and Proposal documentation and other sales collateral to support customer requirements.
  • Provide governance on scope of BMC Discovery and its deliverables
  • Provide consultancy advice and guidance as required.
  • Management of customer relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to customers on their projects and identifying new opportunities within the existing customer base
  • Working alongside Pre-Sales, Project Management, Service Delivery Management, Managed Service and various Leadership teams
Skills/ Experiences
  • 5+ years working with BMC Discovery
  • or - 5+ years working with similar discovery tooling applications
  • Experience of working within the framework of larger Tooling programmes, being aware of both direct and indirect impact on the BMC Discovery project and vice versa
  • Experience with one or more Asset Management tools and/or BMC Discovery products
  • Working knowledge of ITSM CMDBs, in particular relating to data quality and integrations
  • Worked on large scale software and application deployments and/or modelling of data and applications
  • Scripting/ Coding capabilities eg. Bash, Python, PowerShell, REST etc.
