Job Description

A unique opportunity to join a world-leading organisation near St as a Senior Cloud Engineer. This is a newly created role due to growth and is key to the continued success and development of cloud services.This organisation are modernising their technology foundations, and digitising processes to transform the experience for the 50,000 users they currently support.What youll be doing:

  • Providing technical experise in creating, securing and administering infrastructreal computer based technologies (on-premises / cloud)
  • Performing general systems installation, administration, and maintenance of central infrastructure and other more centralised systems, in increasingly hybrid virtualised environments
  • Developing scripts and small programs to automate system management tasks and data manipulation
What youll need:
  • Demonstrable experience and practical knowledge of -
    • Administering Windows and Unix based server operating systems
    • Directory and Authentication technologies (Active Directory / Azure)
    • Networking and internet protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP)
    • VMWare
    • Multi-date centre environments
    • Scripting technologies & automation
    • Administering large scale storage infrastructure
  • Any experience in Solarwinds and Puppet would be advantageous
