Job Description

Senior System Analyst - SubscriptionsThe Subscriptions Analyst is a key member of the Pearson team responsible to design, develop and maintain the Subscription and Order to Revenue solutions. The position requires strong consulting skills with the ability to effectively analyse and solveproblems. The Subscriptions Analyst role will include daily administration, configuration, maintenance, and hygiene of Zuora and associated systems, collaboration and interaction with Architects, developers, project managers, business analysts and stakeholdersto develop and implement solutions for the desired enhancements and platform issues. They must identify potential issues early in the subscriptions solution and plan resolution. A solid candidate will have strong subscriptions platform experience with abilityto solve complex problems in a fast-paced environment.Main Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with IT and Finance stakeholders to scope, design and implement high quality technical solutions in Zuora and other related systems
  • Support daily operational processes related to multiple billing cycles, dunning, and other billing/monetizer processes
  • Make appropriate recommendations to ensure daily operations are efficient
  • Support business users and help troubleshoot simple to complex application issues
  • Monitor and respond to feature and support requests from business users by maintaining backlogs and holding daily/weekly stand-up meetings with project teams to ensure forward project momentum while identifying and performing tasks within projects with minimalsupervision
  • Manage launch of the new products and changes to existing product rules
  • Manage and enhance ecommerce integration and customized solution across the systems
  • Balance technical and business priorities to accomplish shared goals, and build relationships with peers and stakeholders
  • Communicates technical information to both technical and non-technical business stakeholder
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience with at least 4 years enterprise level experience, within a professional services/consulting organization, as an Application Analyst, delivering moderate to complex ERP, Billing, QTC, Q2C, CPQ and/or salesforce.com solutions
  • Must have Zuora Platform experience to support day-to-day queries and analysis from business, finance, dev, QA, and other stakeholders
  • Experience serving as the primary Zuora Application Administrator as well as working in a SaaS company with responsibility for configuration, customization, and management of the technical implementation
  • Conversant with Zuora Admin/ Subscription Billing, Development, and Integration tasks
  • Must have worked on integrations around Zuora with hybris or other ecommerce platforms, Zuora APIs, Payment Gateways, and 3rd party Tax solutions (eg. Vertex)
  • Hands-on Zuora workflow experience is required to automate new workflows and enhance the existing ones
  • Must be able to visualize, analyze, communicate, and solve complex problems and make disciplined decisions based on available information
  • Experience in delivering end to end solutions through the entire SDLC - right from running the client facing workshops, design, build, test, deployment, UAT and handover.
  • Experience in Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Must be a strong team player with excellent communication skills at the business and technical level, able to collaborate as part of a team to deliver exceptional customer results in a rapid paced implementation environment.
  • Experience managing tasks on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Able to travel up to 20% to 40% of the time.
  • Must have good communication skills
