Job Description

Senior Student Immigration & Compliance OfficerSalary range: from £32,411 to £37,255 per annum (dependent on skills, experience and qualifications)Hours: 35 hours per week Contract type: PermanentWe are seeking a Senior Student Immigration & ComplianceOfficer to contribute to the review and development of strengthening our sponsorship duties and responsibilities.You will play a significant role with the coordination of UKVI compliance activities, including the registration of new students and the ongoingmonitoring of existing students. You will be the first point of contact, offering guidance and support to colleagues across the university in relation to student immigration compliance. The focus of the role is primarily in relation to Student Visa but alsoincludes policies and processes for Visit Visas, Start-Up and other relevant visa categories.To be successful, you will have strong stakeholder engagement experience, able to advise clients on a wide-range of immigration compliance issues. You will have abackground in effective audit and compliance regimes and working practices. You will have experience of working in the area of Student Route visa compliance within the education sector; including processing CAS statements and can utilise your knowledge ofstudent record systems (preferably SITS) to produce reports. You will also have a high level of customer care, strong problem solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively to convey complex legal information in a professional manner.
