Job Description

As a Barclays Customer Standards and Governance Manager, you will join us to work across the breadth of Barclays UK Customer and lead on the identification, analysis and management of Customers current and emerging risk and control environment, workingclosely with 2LOD and Chief Control Office colleagues to support Customers vision, objectives and transformation agenda. You will be proactive in driving delivery, attentive to detail, as well as being structured and logical in your thinking. Hybrid Working We are currently operating in a hybrid working environment, meaning that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. Please discuss the detail of the working pattern optionsfor the role with the hiring manager. What will you be doing Leading on the enhancement to Customers control library, including strategic testing capabilities to ensure that the right controls are in place Ensuring a smooth running of the full end-to-end RCSA process, ensuring that the Enterprise Process Taxonomy is proactively reviewed and supporting the overall delivery of RCSA process Identifying, recording and maintaining Issues and Actions, as well as supporting the business in identifying potential events and breaches Supporting issues remediation and, where appropriate, managing risk acceptance Monitoring control maturity and Key Risk Indicators ensuring that there is no degrading of the risk and control environment taking the lead on any changes required Ensuring that change management considers the impact to the control environment and work with existing change governance processes to ensure that new risks are identified What were looking for: Extensive knowledge of Barclays UK Regulatory, Risk and Control environment Excellent communication skills - ability to engage colleagues to understand and deliver business strategic objectives Well-developed influencing and negotiation skills to ensure effective risk outcomes when working with stakeholders across the business Solid stakeholder management, including the ability to build solid and mutually beneficial relationships Skills that will help you in the role: Good understanding of Digital, data and technology Highly developed leadership skills - ability to drive performance, inspire, motivate and influence teams inside and outside own business area to achieve business goals Core of Barclays Behaviours and Values Where will you be workingWe will confirm your place of work at the point of offer, ensuring that this is considered in line with our future ways of working and overall location strategy.
