Senior Staff NurseLocation: Lewisham, South East London (SE13)Salary: £26,693 - £30,962 per annum + Excellent benefitsHours: 37.5 per week (Monday - Saturday) - Sundays offShift: Days only - no nights - shifts between 6am - 11pm onlyTime Recruitment is assisting a large international renal dialysis provider in recruiting for a Senior Staff Nurse for their outpatient dialysis clinic in Lewisham, South East London the service has been awarded for the development of new technology for end stage renal dialysis.As a Senior Staff Nurse on a renal dialysis unit you will take ownership of care programmes for dialysis patients with end stage renal disease or acute renal failure; working closely with experts and specialists in this field you will provide stable clinical care, emotional support and independence for patients whilst awaiting transplant.Senior Staff Nurse responsibilities include:* Take ownership for renal patients including the initiation and termination of dialysis, whilst providing stable clinical care, emotional support, and independence for patients.* Conduct tailored care plans to administer medications, fluid therapy or other appropriate treatments.* Perform patient assessments including but not limited to vital signs and all other parameters of the ESRD patients, review dialysis orders, determine general physical and mental condition of patient through observations and interview, and assist in determining compliance to dietary or medication regimen.* Act as a named staff nurse for a group of assigned patients ensuring great care is provided at all times.* Undertake the role of Nurse in Charge as and when required and/or deputise for the Clinic ManagerBenefits for working as a Senior Staff Nurse within a specialist group such as this one includes:* Guaranteed Professional Development* Outstanding and award-winning training* Competitive and negotiable salary* Flexible working hours - NO NIGHTS* Overtime always available* Company pension - 3%* Paid external training courses and university tuition.* Regular salary reviews* Medical Plans* Dental Plans* Extended sick leave* Discount fitness programme* Life Insurance* Dedicated and assigned mentor.* 8% unsocial hours payment* 28 days holiday + bank holidays increasing with serviceSo if you have renal experience and are looking for a new challenge with training whilst growing your clinical portfolio apply below, you will obtain the opportunity to obtain qualifications in renal care and eventually move into a leadership position with all training and professional development paid for and regular internal development opportunities available.If you have any questions regarding the Senior Staff Nurse role or wish to know more about the position contact Larissa at Time Recruitment or apply below for an immediate response.
