Were seeking a future team member in the role of Senior Specialist, Back-End Developer to join our Markets and Markets Risk Technology team. This role is located in London, UK In this role, youll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Consult with internal business groups to provide appropriate application software development services and technical support in our Transaction Regulatory Reporting Space
  • Coordinate the technical design, development, and documentation of cross-functional and multi-platform application systems.
  • Design and develop backend features and components using Agile Methodology
  • Scale the backend architecture and codebase to support growth
  • Reduce the level of technical debt of the backend codebase
  • Playing a technical lead role and offering support and help to other team members.
  • Utilize knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Conduct reviews of the test Plan and test Data
  • Managing and enhancing the CI/CD pipeline
  • Supports code builds, migrations, and deployments to all regions
To be successful in this role, were seeking the following:
  • Bachelors degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline
  • 10 years of experience in software development required
  • At least 6 years of experience with Java, J2EE technologies.
  • Hands on experience with Springboot, Docker, Messaging technologies (IBM MQ, Kafka), SQL databases
  • Experience and knowledge in Regulatory Reporting in Banking Domain
  • Candidate must have prior experience guiding and mentoring junior developers
  • Experience working in Agile Framework
