Job Description

Role title: Senior Specialist, Artworker ( UI Designer )Start date: ASAP - 1st November ideally (open to notice periods as well)Contract length/end date: 5 monthsAssignment Rates to Contractor: up to £350.00Location: VOE/London - 1 day per week in the office maxRole Purpose

  • Applies artwork expertise in the development of content in support of production of multi-channel content, in support of key business, marketing & communications and brand priorities - to raising profiles, generating leads and building brand equity forLSEG and its sub-brands through, impactful and effective customer and internal communications
Reports To:
  • Design Manager, Content Creation & Execution
Technical / job functional knowledge and skills
  • Portfolio that demonstrates exceptional artwork, layout and overall creative execution
  • Heavy-weight production art experience, agency experience a bonus
  • Experienced understanding and ability to clearly articulate the creative workflow and processes within a design studio
  • Experienced in all modern graphic design mediums and their uses: digital, social media and print
  • Experience of working closely with a brand and associated guidelines, with a demonstrated ability in developing high-level artwork.
  • Expert command of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), experience with interactive digital content a bonus.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivers artwork and design layouts utilising brand guidelines and templates for individual communication tactics to support integrated marketing campaigns across a range of both print and digital tactics, including: presentations, print and digital (banner)advertising, marketing and sales collateral, direct mail, infographics, social posts, event and tradeshow displays
  • Collaborates with Creative Project Managers, Content Strategists, Creative Leads and/or stakeholders, to work on multiple projects and be involved in artwork and design layout phases of creative production
  • Executes selected artwork projects in collaboration with a wider creative team, including Design Manager, Creative Director, Creative Project Managers, Writers, additional Art Directors, and Graphic Designers
  • Delivers new business projects and/or specific creative assignments (such as producing branded templates and assets)
  • Creates and delivers industry-leading artwork production files that are on brand and aligned with content and brand strategy
Leadership & Management Responsibilities / Expertise
  • Individual contributor with specific (artwork) technical expertise
  • Part of global team - no management/leadership responsibilities
