Position Description: We are looking to hire a software engineer to join our development team in London for our Trade Sizing platform. Trade Sizing is atthe heart of PIMCOs portfolio construction process, and the team has built a successful platform used by over 1,000 users across the firm. We need ambitious developers to help build version 2. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working on both brownand greenfield software projects, with an eye on commercial outcomes for a $2+trillion asset manager. Responsibilities Build, innovate and deliver - a pragmatic approach with an eye on technical debt Contribute to the overall design and architecture of theproduct Translate requirements and use cases into functional applications and Improvements Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, reliable and testable .Net Core code Ensure optimum performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications Helpmaintain code quality, organization and introduce automation Work collaboratively and build relationships with Front Office users together with the global tech team Position Requirements: BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related fields 3+ years of professionalsoftware engineering in the financial industry Proven experience with C# ASP.Net Core Experience with micro service architecture and cloud deployment Knowledge of SQL on any relational DBMS, Oracle is helpful Experience with Messaging technologies, AMPS/MQis a plus Experience or desire to learn Python is a plus Experience building UIs in html5 is a plus Experience with Fixed Income products is a plus Enjoy working collaboratively across the organization to resolve issues Benefits: PIMCO is committed to offeringa comprehensive portfolio of employee benefits designed to support the health and well-being of you and your family.
