The AI allows users to appraise damage digitally. Project:As a Senior Software Engineer in the team, youll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a distributed software system that processes claims at scale for the Claim Review product.This involves: Working in a cross-functional team to develop our AI review platform backend in a scalable andsustainable way; our systems process hundreds of thousands of claims every month, and we areplanning to continue scaling Deploying and supporting our production applications (includes on-call rotations) Partnering with product managers, researchers, data scientists and other engineers to maximise theimpact of AI models Understanding our customer feedback and increasing the value were delivering to our customers Gathering requirements for new features in collaboration with our product managers Developing and promoting engineering best practices throughout the team Coaching and mentoring junior engineers Sharing your knowledge with the teamTechnologies: Python/Tensorflow/Pytorch Typescript/Node.js PostgreSQL Kafka Docker Kubernetes AWSWhat were looking for: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to be able to liaise with internal teams Strong programming skills (bonus if Python or Node.js) Hands-on experience with software architecture & API design Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and CI/CD best practices Prior experience working with machine learning is a big bonus but not required Someone who cares about quality, from the first line of code to the impact on the end user Someone who thrives on ownership and autonomy, with self-drive to spot where we can improve Key technical skills on a CV:
