JOB AD:Our Client is one of the biggest names in the gaming industry.They are currently looking for a Senior Developer Relations Engineer to join them.Responsibilities include travelling the world optimizing game engines, promoting new technologies and influencing their software and hardware development strategy. Working as a senior engineer, your main responsibility will be to empower our partners to develop world-class games on mobile devices. If you want to work on the latest and greatest mobile games on the widest-reaching platform, this is the job for you.This is an opportunity to join our global engineering team working onsite at the worlds best games developers. We want you to join us in optimizing The Next Big Game wherever that may be. The ideal candidate will have experience of authoring, debugging, optimizing and shipping computer games.A solid working knowledge of OpenGL ES and/or Vulkan will be necessary, together with a good understanding of game platforms, device technologies, performance analysis and the game development process. An important part of the job is building relationships with external parties, primarily game developers and related companies.You should also be enthusiastic about travel (within the UK and internationally) to support our top-tier partners on site when necessary.Required SkillsBS or higher degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Natural Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a related discipline Strong proficiency in C and C++ programming languages Experience of developing computer games and/or 3D graphics Expert capability with one or more 3D Graphics technologies (OpenGL ES, DirectX, Metal and/or Vulkan) Performance analysis (and optimisation) of real-time graphics applications A good level of inter-personal and communication skills Good analytical and logical thinking capabilityDesirable SkillsExperience of working with Unity, Unreal, Cryengine or similar game engines Public speaking experience{Summary of the knowledge and experience necessary to perform the job satisfactorily.
