Summary My client is one of the worlds largest producers of news and market data; ingesting millions of news stories every day from external feeds and social media in order to keep their customers informed. The team This is a new Data Science Platformteam with members in London and New York, responsible for designing and building scalable infrastructure and tools to ingest trading data from different asset classes into a PostgreSQL/Citus-based trade store. They also develop a data toolkit for clients toquery trading data and are widely involved in the larger data science community. The role Collaborating closely with other engineering teams, you will be taking ownership of the full development lifecycle. You will design, build and release robust, scalablenew features to clients without compromising system stability. You will be a real team player, keen to drive the use of new technologies and enthusiastic about sharing your knowledge.
