Job Description

Senior Software Developer - £70,000 - £80,000 - London PiccadillyWe are excited to be working with an expanding business within the property & hospitality sector, which is continuing to grow despite the current economy.Due to growth within the business my client is looking to recruit a Senior Software Developer to join their team to work on a range of exciting new projects.You will work on exciting projects as part of a medium sized team creating brand new technology.As a Senior Software Developer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering secure customer facing and internal-facing software in an agile environment. You will have a pro-active attitude to continuous improvement to software, techniques, and processes. As an experienced Developer, you will bring expertise to help us innovate and drive our established solutions forward.The Tech Stack

  • .Net Core, C#, ASP.Net
  • Azure, Web API, WCF
  • Microsoft Visual Studio
  • CI/CD with TFS, AzureDevOps, Git and Octopus Deploy
  • SQL Databases
  • HTML, JavaScript, JSON, REST

    • Key Accountabilities
  • Leading technical demonstrations to project teams and business users
  • Continuous improvement and introducing new technologies
  • Proposing technical and functional designs
  • Delivering enterprise-quality software, web, and API solutions on Microsoft Platforms
  • Participating in code and architecture reviews, supporting continuous learning and knowledge sharing across the team.
  • Managing the development work within projects
  • Ensuring our software meets the required standards for privacy, security, compliance, and regulation
  • Production of technical documentations and release notes, when required, to support all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle Requirements
  • Mentoring / Managing a team of Developers / Junior Developers
    • Skills
  • 6-8 years Full-Stack Software Development experience
  • Proficient in C# programming with demonstrable expert-level knowledge of .NET Core and .NET Framework
  • Experience delivering Web Services and APIs with a solid understanding of REST, SOAP, JSON and XML
  • Accomplished in developing Websites and Applications using ASP.NET (MVC, Web Forms, Web API)
  • Proficient in Database Development
  • Experience building responsive layouts and mobile websites
  • Prior experience within Hospitality or Property an advantage
  • Experience mentoring teams
