Senior Software Developer - C++ / Python, Video Production / Video Editing (FFmpeg / DNxHD) , Cloud Computing (AWS / Azure), Linux Infrastructure, Networking (DNS / DHCP)

    • Our South London based client is currently looking for a highly experienced Senior Software Developer who has over ten years commercial experience working with C++ and Python who can cover a range of responsibilities and act as one of the lead technical consultants for end clients and internally within the business. They are looking for someone who has previously worked within Video Production or Editing who understand actually how videos are put together and the technologies used to edit and upload them online!They are one of the UKs fastest growing companies within online and hosted video and are currently looking for a number of Developers to help the continued growth of the business. With share options being a potential option and the companies proven success this is an excellent time to join. The company is headed up and run by directors who have had incredible previous success with their previous similar enterprise and are loking to scale up and achieve even more with their current company.Key Skills required by the Senior Software Developer:
  • 10 + Years hands on commercial experience coding within C++ and Python
  • Over 1 Year working within a role that interlinks with Video Production / Video Editing or the creation and adaptation of hosted video services (FFmpeg, DNxHD, Video Workflows, EDF, Elemental, Adope Premier etc)
  • Linux Infrastructure (Debian / Ubuntu)
  • AWS / Azure / GCP
  • DevOps Technologies
  • Docker
  • Automated Testing
  • Metadata
  • Networking and Network Architecture
    • The Senior Software Developer role is a pivotal position for the organisation and will cover a broad technical element of what the company does.
