Contract opportunity: Senior Software Algo Java Developer - London - 12 months - outside IR35 - £ DOEMy key Client are currently looking for a Back End Developer to work on the development of Algo trading framework enabling trading strategies for Algo trading. The day to day responsibilities would include design, development and maintenance of Algo framework,and integration with other data and connectivity platform in the firm. Skill set: * Strong Computer science fundamentals with deep understanding of software development. * 10 plus years hands on core Java development experience * Extensive experience in server side programming * Deep understanding of Data structures, OOPs. Design patterns, multi-threaded programming, and distributed computing * Excellent organizational, problem solving, and written/verbal communication skills. * Experience with all phases of the systems development lifecycle * Experience in fixed income financial products and bond trading. * Extensive experience in messaging protocols (FIX, TCP/IP, JMS based messaging : EMS, MQ) * Database experience (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle) * Experience in high performance and high availability systems. * Plus: Bloomberg experience is a big plus.Lawrence Harvey is acting as an Employment Business in regards to this position.
