About The Role Are you passionate about security and want to be part of an innovative and award winning company Do you have experience in regulated industries and enjoy being part of a Security Operations Team If you are a go to person with excellent security and problem solving skills; are up to the challenge of working in a financial services Security Operations, then we want to hear from you. To be a successful member of our team, we need people who are experts in security technologies, how threat actors circumvent these and how to detect and respond to security events. Youll also have a drive for change and continuous improvement and be a great communicator. About You As a member of an award winning Cyber Security team, youll become a key part of the Societys defences against cyber attack. This role requires a good understanding of security Detect and Respond controls as well as the strong technical knowledge of vulnerabilities and technical threats to IT Systems and infrastructure. Youll be required to respond to security incidents and take part in threat hunting and security testing. Professional qualifications or essential experience required: • A security related qualification e.g. CISSP, CISA/M, SANS GIAC. • Experience of PCI-DSS • Experience of UK Financial Services regulatory requirements • Experience working in security operations teams or related industry. • Exposure to ISO27001/2 or NIST knowledge. • Excellent customer service or background, and/or IT security experience. • Good understanding of data security Internally this role is known as Senior Analyst - Cyber and Information Security.
