Job Description

Senior Site ManagerLocation: East LondonSalary range - £70,000 - £75,000.Atheray Stone is looking for an experienced Senior Site Manager to manage a £15M Cut & Carve scheme for an established main contractor based in East London. The company works in several sectors like residential and commercial in new builds and mixed use.Responsibilities:

  • Oversee operations on a day-to-day basis, from inception to completion
  • Responsible for managing/ monitoring sub-contractors - suppliers
  • Ensuring all work is carried out to a high-quality standard
  • Carry out Risk Assessments /Method Statements (RAMS) build quality
  • Management of site health and safety
  • Liaise with the project manager to develop a detailed installation project plan with timings and costings
  • Manage the work program, and maintaining a detailed site diary
  • Find solutions to problems as they arise that may cause delays/costs
  • Comprehensive understanding of the building process
  • Ability to liaise with clients
  • Experience of leading teams on site and provide engineered solutions where necessary.
  • Ensure Interpreting plans, drawings, and sketches of proposed building works in terms of the relevant specifications
  • Instructing information to Site Supervisors and on to direct labor, ensuring implementation.
  • Placing orders, receiving, and distributing materials to specified sections for future work.
  • Lead weekly progress meetings and producing the required timeline of works / action points.
  • Ensure regular inspection of each trade snagging sheets completed and issued to relevant trades
