Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Security Infrastructure Management:
Configure and maintain security tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus software, and encryption tools, email spam and phishing policies.
  • Incident Response:
Develop and implement incident response plans to address and mitigate security incidents.
  • AWS Cloud Security Management:
Maintain cloud security in AWS.
  • Security Policy and Compliance:
Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Security Awareness and Training:
Develop and deliver security training programs for employees to increase awareness and promote a security-conscious culture.
  • Security Documentation:
Maintain comprehensive documentation of security policies, procedures, and configurations.Experience:
  • Previous experience of working in roles such as Cyber Security or Senior Security Engineer.
  • Solid network Understanding (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPN). Routing and switching, DNS and Network Monitoring.
  • Cloud Security technologies or tools– preferably in AWS.
  • Solid understand of web application architecture and concepts including the OWASP Top 10.
Other Desirable Skills
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of NIST, MITRE or OWASP and frameworks such as ISO27001.
  • Experience with SIEM Platforms
  • Experience with web application firewalls deployed in a cloud environment.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation via AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
  • Experience with Microsoft Defender, Carbon Black.
  • Experience with Okta/DUO and configuring SAML / SSO.
