Job Description

Senior SDET (Java)Salary - up to £95k + Bonus + BensWe are seeking a Senior SDET to join a global FinTech providing analytics and archiving solutions to the global financial sector. Their services are delivered to over 90 countries and they have recently restructured to smaller pod teams allowing for amore detailed and accurate development approachThe Senior SDET will work hands-on with the code to design testing solutions for their API services and web applications. The large-scale applications are built in a Core Java environment where, as the Senior SDET, youll need to have sufficient Java programmingexperience to lead by example.We are offering the Senior SDET:

  • a focal team role responsible for ensuring efficient testing procedures across multiple applications
  • drive continual improvement across the teams testing and automation strategies
  • a diverse role focusing on design, development and maintenance of automation frameworks, architecture and tools
The Senior SDET will be joining a company passionate for TDD and clean code. It is a heavily tested environment as their solutions and applications are used by global banks and financial institutions.As the Senior SDET, youll be hands-on with defining and automating test cases, as well as testing libraries, code reviews, test execution and documentation.The company are currently priorisiting London growth, which acts as their UK/EU headquarters. They grew from 40 to 150 last year, and are on course to doubling that this year.
