Job Description

T-Reg Biology, Immunology, CAR-T/ TCR Therapies, Leadership, Flow Cytometry Your new companyCurrently known to hold the largest Series A financing in the T-Reg Biology field (and more recently secured the largest Series B funding for any Biotech in the UK), our ambitious client is an aggressively growing cell therapy biotech, driven to deliver trulylife-changing therapies for their patients. They are among a new generation of companies advancing in CAR-T cell development and gene editing, to more engineered T-Reg cell therapies with enhanced stability and potency. Their vision is to expand into a global biopharma, bringing innovative and valuedT-Reg therapies for a range of autoimmune and inflammatory diseases!Your new role

  • As an integral member of the Translational and Product Knowledge team, you will responsible for managing a team of associates and scientists, performing experimental design for engineering human immune cells with their novel cell therapy platform.
  • You will provide technical expertise for assay setup, directly performing multi-colour flow cytometry-based characterisation of immune cells.
  • You will manage and support industrial collaborations, acting as a subject matter expert in immunology, additionally staying up-to-date with new technologies in the cell therapy (T-Cell) field.
What youll need to succeed
  • You will hold a PhD (or equivalent research experience) in Immunology, Immuno-oncology, Cancer Biology (or a related field), including proven expertise in the field of T-Cell/T-Reg Biology.
  • You will be confident in your experience managing a team of research scientists/ associates.
  • You will bring demonstrable expertise in flow cytometry, and developing immunological assays.
