OMG is a FinTech start-up working on an innovative Bank-as-a-Platform proposition and currently looking for a Senior Backend Lead Developer (AWS, Golang) to join and lead a team of functional developers building next-generation systems and complex APIs. The project has raised substantial Seed funding and is now in the later stages of MVP development in preparation for the public launch in Q1 2021.Desired Skills: AWS, Goloang, APIs (GraphQL, RESTs), xperience building Microservice Architecture, experience with open-source databases like Postgres or NoSQL will be highly advantageous. Coding practices, working with Git and good GitLab collaboration skills is also necessary. Experience in automating operations (such as infrastructure as code, automated monitoring and alerting, build pipelines) would be useful.A successful candidate will work closely with the senior development and product teams and have a major impact on the back end, infrastructure, deployment and iOS/Android versions of the app. This is a great opportunity to work with a modern tech stack, working directly on product features, and overseeing the scalability of infrastructure. The team is very passionate about software, enjoys experimenting with the latest technologies and solving interesting and challenging problems.The companys offices are based in London, Victoria and there are currently opportunities for both office and remote work on a full-time basis.
