Our staff always go the extra mile in caring for our patients which can be demonstrated by our recent outstanding rating awarded by the CQC.Job DescriptionTo work as a senior member of the radiotherapy team responsible for maintaining and developing the radiotherapy service as well as being a team leader on the treatment unit.This is a part-time permanent role working hours 15 hours per week and the salary being offered is competitive dependent on skills/experience.   • Be responsible for a team of radiographers working in a designated area
  • Be responsible for the accurate administration or planning of radiotherapy treatments ensuring accurate documentation of treatments in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. Take part in audits as required.
  • In conjunction with other senior radiographic staff, agree, implement and monitor systems of work, quality assurance procedures and protocols.
  • Maintain effective liaison with all appropriate staff to ensure the provision of a high quality service and a smooth and efficient work flow through the department.
  • Operate radiotherapy equipment in accordance with operational procedures ensuring routine quality assurance procedures are carried out.
  • Skills & Experience
  • DCR(T)/BSc (Hons) in Therapeutic Radiography or equivalent
  • HCPC registration
  • Extensive post qualification clinical experience
