The Software Engineer (QE) role plays an important part in our companys product development process, focusing on solvingroot causes of quality problems in addition to symptoms discovery. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing quality assistance. Be responsible for supporting delivery team to focus on prevention rather than detection and demonstrate autonomyin holding each other to high-quality standards. As a Software Engineer (QE) in a cross-functional squad, youll be collaborating with other professionals to build world class UI experiences through lean agile methodologies (Kanban, Scrum) via our CI/CD platformallowing a fast and easy pathway to production for new features or bug fixes, while being cost-effective. • Proven work experience in software development and software engineering methodologies
• Proven software quality assurance and quality engineering experience with a focus on web-based applications.
• Strong knowledge of Software QA/QE methodologies, tools, and processes - white box and black box testing
• Exposure to Exploratory and Automation Testing (Unit, System, Integration and E2E)
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools like Playwright, Cypress, TestCafe, Jest, Serenity BDD, Selenide, Karate
• Solid knowledge of, Java, SQL, Scripting and Kotlin
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development process, methodologies (TDD, BDD, SCRUM, Kanban, etc) and associated tools (Jira)
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (Git, GitLab)
• Experience of full stack mobile app and Web app testing
• Knowledge of the use of Web services (SOAP & REST) and API (Swagger, WireMock, Postman, Insomnia)
• Ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience with Spring Framework and eCommerce platform is a plus
• Experience with performance, accessibility and/or security testing is a plus
