Broster Buchanan are partnered with a cutting edge global engineering firm who are looking for 2 Senior System Integration and Test Engineers to join on a permanent basis and contribute to a number of very exciting projects. These roles would suit someonewith a strong Software I&T, Product I&T and System I&T background, with some exposure to working on lab software.Given the nature of the clients work, recent or active Security Clearance is essential.These roles are being offered with a salary of £60k - £75k and can be worked on a hybrid pattern with 2/3 days onsite at either Birchwood, Warrington, South London, Glasgow, Cardiff, Gloucester or Bristol.Responsibilities:* Collaborate with the Test Manager and key stakeholders to craft comprehensive Test and Acceptance Management Plans.* Champion the overall Test Strategy, actively contributing to its development and successful implementation.* Design and generate test artifacts that optimise testing coverage and efficacy.* Innovate and adapt testing approaches and methods to perfectly align with each projects unique needs.* Define the integration and testing scope for each release, drawing insights from requirements and design documents.* Establish key metrics for tracking integration and test progress, ensuring data-driven decision-making.* Estimate the integration and test effort required for each test cycle, optimising resource allocation.* Execute and meticulously document test runs/cycles, delivering clear and actionable reports.* Manage the defect lifecycle, from identification and reporting to resolution and verification.Requirements:* Experience in various development processes, including Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) and test automation frameworks/languages.* Experience in various engineering methodologies, such as Waterfall/Agile/SAFe.* Experience in the development and delivery of: Lab-based systems and user acceptance testing. System integration and V&V inputs to design to ensure testability. Automated testing approaches and methodologies. Tools for test reporting, test management, andtest automation.Traceability between test cases and both requirements & design. Integration and test plans, test cases, test scripts and reports.* Ability to understand project priorities and what is required from SI&T to meet them.* Ability to analyse data output from testing and articulate what that means to technical and non-technical stakeholders.* Ability to report issues/negative outcomes with a way forward.* Ability to separate the differences and relationship between Acceptance, Certification, and Qualification.If you are interested, please click apply and share your CV.
