JOB SCOPEThe purpose of the role is to provide Project Management/Business Analysis to the Financial Markets Technology group, looking after the Accuracy, Completeness and Timely derivation of Risk and P&L. The role holder should have relevant experience working inFinancial Markets or Market Risk. Primary focus is to support tracking of regulatory deliverables, running working groups, supporting refinement forum. SABRE is the sole FM cross asset risk management platform (Standard Chartered Analytics Booking and Risk Engine) and delivers consolidated risks primarily to Structured and Derivatives traders within the Front Office. This role consists in joining the SABRE project team responsible for running Various projects in Market Risk space. The team looks after the end-to-end adoption of new businesses onto the platform, in direct interaction with the Risk, Operations and Quantsto deliver requirements. The person is expected to have a through understanding Agile project management methodology. Joining as a Project Manager , the candidate will take full ownership of the products pipeline and be responsible for their full delivery till production. He will also drive the continuous transformation of the platform and the processes to support fastertime-to-market for various projects in Market Risk. This includes progression of the Continuous Build/Continuous integration roadmap, both within SABRE and Active Risk platforms. Key Roles & Responsibilities
  • Building strong, effective relationships with both the business and technology teams, across global offices.
  • Collaborating with all Front Office, Trading Risk Management, FM Operations, Model Analytical Group and control functions to provide timely updates on projects and deliverables
  • Facilitate creation and ongoing management of initiative cost plans. Maintaining financial forecasts in Clarity. Collaborating with technology teams for inputs
  • Drive a focused team dedicated to the enhancement roadmap for the various Market Risk initiatives such as FRTB, IBOR, SABRE adoption and BAU.
  • Help and educate teams on governance processes (OR Policy, NWoW standards), ensure controls are met on an ongoing basis
  • Leading agile teams including Business Analysts, Developers and Testers and being able to identify business implications of technical design decisions and influence them accordingly.
  • Providing regular and detailed transparency on the on-boarding progress to the Programme Managers and other Product owners
  • Deliver functional consistency across the various projects by influencing architecture and design decisions
  • Collation of monthly Refinement Forum materials and minutes. Ensure data sources (JIRA/Clarity) are kept up to date and accurate to enable automated reporting
  • Assist the business with the UAT, including test cases preparation, planning, communication, and close tracking of activities.
  • Identify risks and issues early, plan mitigating steps and communicate these to business stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Delivery focused, committing to specific tasks and ensuring these and the overall projects deadlines are met
