Job Description

Senior Project Development Manager – District Heating, London/ Flexible, UK. Salary to £79,700 p.a. + car/allowance + bonus and nice benefits. This is a great opportunity with a leading distributed energy firm who design, build, finance and operate lowcarbon heating, cooling and power networks. As well as responding to tendered opportunities, they also develop their own projects aiming to build the new heat networks infrastructure which will support the UKs transition to Net Zero. The role As a SeniorProject Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development of new district energy solutions to address customers requirements within companys Heat Network key target markets. These include new build and retrofit projects for privateand public sector clients. You will have the opportunity to develop innovative technical and commercial solutions which can meet the requirements of diverse stakeholders. Key responsibilities Develop New Opportunities through from bid to completion, ensuringprocesses including Stakeholder Mapping and implementing Management information tools such as Salesforce. Working on innovative new solutions to prove commercial viability and take to market this year Manage existing pipeline, circa £1.6m EBIT, and exceedingsales targets. Develop new opportunities to ensure companys offer remains competitive and relevant to a changing market. Support business development function to convert pipeline to order book. Essential Requitements Comfortable being the lead in the developmentof a large capital project, including presenting, negotiating and coordinating a team of specialists. Ability to see the bigger picture and a willingness to get into the detail where required. Strong administrative skills and exceptionally organised with anappreciation of managing documents and companys governance processes. Knowledge of low carbon heat and cooling design, including a broad understanding of heat pump technology. An understanding of the practicalities with developing an energy centre and installingpipes. Legal and commercial intelligence – Knowing linkages and the impact decisions in one part of the project will have on the contract and potentially the design. Passionate about saving energy, improving the environment and delivering on net zero. Excellentskills in combining commercial analysis with concept design to provide optimum techno-economic solution.
