This role will help us shape and deliver all future engagement and partnership activities at Bodnant garden,working with others to build and create meaningful experiences that connect audiences to this world-renowned garden. Hoffem weithio gydag eraill i ddatblygu a chyflawni ein rhaglen a darparu mynediadir ardd anhygoel hon.What youll be doingYoull be responsible for co-creating and producing a year-round programme of public engagement, working with local communities and key partners to devise and implement events and activities for, and with, audiences.Working closely with the Visitor Operations and Experience Manager, youll produce clear plans which guide our working practices and evaluate the programme impact to ensure we deliver our plans for our future. This role is all about relationships and youllneed a collaborative approach and excellent people skills. The role sits within the visitor experience team but you will also need to develop a close relationship with the garden team and build strong relationships with the wider property team, as well aswith external partners such as local community groups and other gardens. Youll manage all aspects of activity planning from ideas, to initial enquiries with ideas through to the reviewing at post event stage. You will accurately plan resource requirementsfor development and delivery of programmes including staffing and infrastructure requirements, analysing sales and costs and identifying future income generating opportunities. You will opt in to and deliver national programmes and seasonal activities forthe property. You will manage risk of our programme ensuring it is safe, compliant and in line with relevant legislation and you will be responsible for carrying out risk assessments for any events and activities you are involved in. Youll need experience in directly delivering visitor programmes and/or working with community or commercial partners todeliver events and activities for and with audiences in the heritage or visitor attraction sectors. Youll also have experience in building, maintaining and developing partnership relationships in order to offer engagement opportunities to audiences of visitors,volunteers or community participants. Youll need to measure and evaluate outputs and demonstrate impact. Youll be a clear and confident communicator and be used to talking with people from all walks of life. Welsh language is desirable for this role andyoull need a clear understanding of the importance of celebrating welsh language and culture.
