Senior Program Delivery Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Program Delivery Manager that can help PDE (Product, Data, and Engineering) teams to adopt, utilize and scale product delivery processes and practices, to focus on the most critical initiatives for our clients and deliver themost value to them. We, at the Product Delivery Office, work closely with Engineering, Product, Analytics, Sales and Data teams across the entire organization to craft and continuously improve software products delivery processes, organizational models, strategies, plans and procedures.As a member of our team, you will also have an opportunity to establish procedures and policies that promote company culture and vision. Our team members coach, lead and motivate managers and team members to encourage maximum performance and dedication. We help teams to set goals and evaluate teams performance and growth with qualitative and quantitative metrics. As a part of the Product DeliveryOffice team, you will have an exciting opportunity to design and implement innovative product development processes to deliver the most complex and ground-breaking Bloomberg products and initiatives across global markets. • Understand and be able to evaluate various product value streams
• Have a deep understanding of customer workflows within business areas of support and be able to define and communicate value being sought for customers
• Assess current state and design a tailored Agile product delivery framework that fits the needs of our internal clients
• Enable cross-team collaboration, oversee risk and manage dependencies on strategic initiatives
• Coach and mentor Product, Data, and Engineering teams and leaders on setting goals to drive business outcomes using proven goal-setting frameworks
• Exercise and champion the Agile principles and practices throughout the organization
• Partner with other members of the PDO team to create consistency in implementing and evolving practices
• Above all else, foster and model a collaborative team environment driven to build great software and products while having fun

Youll need to have:

• Experience in Product Development, Process Design and Improvement while using Agile principles and methods
• Prior experience in technical and product leadership coaching such as technical team performance management, communication strategies, conflict management strategies, leadership development, prioritization and goal setting, personal accountability and stressmanagement, etc.
• High level engagement and a strong ability to influence others in a positive way.
• Proven leadership and motivational skills and capability to drive teams to achieve results
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable with writing and delivering presentations and holding workshops for large groups of 50+ people
• Experience using performance metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement

Wed love to see:

• Experience in the financial services industry
• Knowledge in organizational design models & software architecture practices
• Hands-on experience in goal-setting frameworks such as OKRs (Objectives and Key Results)
