SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGERLUXURY TOUR OPERATOR, LONDONUP TO £50KTHE JOBThis is a hugely exciting opportunity to join an established London-based meetings and events company looking to move into the luxury travel sector.We’re helping the company in its search for an experienced and commercially-focused senior product manager within the travel industry, who will play a key role in developing its product offering in luxury travel, using existing contacts and relationships to deliver strategic growth for the business. The senior product manager will work with the design and marketing teams to ensure the product is marketed effectively.As senior product manager, you’ll count the following amongst your responsibilities:• Source new worldwide luxury travel suppliers• Maintain relationships with current suppliers• Drive product strategy• Act as company representative at key industry events and functions, seeking opportunitiesto develop partner relationships and grow your network• Commercially responsible for negotiating rates with suppliers• Develop new product to ensure the company has highly competitive properties andexperiences in the luxury travel marketABOUT THE COMPANYAn established MICE specialist with offices in London and Birmingham, the company is expanding into luxury travel. This an exciting opportunity to join the luxury travel brand at its start-up phase in the London office.WHAT EXPERIENCE AND KEY SKILLS DO I NEED• A minimum 3 years’ experience in a senior product manager/product development role within the travel industry• Commercially astute• Excellent spoken and written communication skills, a confident and professional communicator• Strong negotiation skills• We’re looking for a self-starter with a flexible attitude who is keen to establish themselves in a start-up brand• Must be adaptable with a positive manner as this will be an evolving role within the business• Superb network of contacts within luxury travelWHAT’S IN IT FOR METhis is a full time, permanent role with a highly competitive salary.
