Job Description

Job Title: Senior / Principal Traffic EngineerOffice Location: LondonDesired Salary: £35,000 - £47,500A specialist traffic and transportation consultancy is looking to continue the growth of their London based team, through the recruitment of a Senior Traffic Engineer.You will support private and public-sector clients through undertaking transport planning studies and developing transportation schemes throughout the UK.Candidate specification:

  • 6+ years traffic engineering experience;
  • Strong mathematical and written English skills;
  • Degree level of education in a relevant subject;
  • Knowledge of Manual for streets & TSRGD;
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD;
  • Competent project manager;
  • Confident mentoring junior staff and overseeing technical output;
  • Experience with Junctions 10, Vissim, Visum, Paramics & Transyt;
  • Comfortable presenting to clients and developing new business;
  • Excellent communication skills;
    • The successful applicant will assist in the management & delivery of projects in London and across the UK, whilst offering support & mentorship to more junior staff.
